The new Nomad location serves new menu items like a “pizza crudo” topped with tomato, tuna tartare, ricotta, basil, and a cheese crisp; as well as a “veggie double double club,” made with patties made of eggplant, mushrooms, quinoa, farro, cheese, and pine nuts, topped with American cheese and and a house “secret sauce.” For dessert, there’s matcha pudding with coconut almond sponge cake, malted cornflakes, toasted milk crumbs, and pink Kit Kats. It also serves familiar Quality Eats fare, like the brown-bag curly fries. The steak selections — bavette cut, hanger, grilled skirt, Don Ameche, and sirloin strip — are also the same.

The restaurant is part of the Quality Branded restaurants from restaurateur Michael Stillman, which also owns Quality Italian and Quality Meats. The Stillman family has been in the meat business in New York for years; Michael’s father Alan opened the first TGI Friday’s in 1965 and once manned steakhouse chain Smith & Wollensky.
