Crypto Q&A with the Freedom of the Press Foundation

An interactive #cryptoparty presented by Solonje Burnett-Loucas & Michelle Cortese.

Worried about corporations and governments collecting your data?

Concerned about how the current federal administration affects your data protection?

Should you use a VPN?

Which messaging apps are safe?

Can you effectively protect your phone from prying boarding-control as an immigrant?

If you’ve recently pondered data protection or digital security and find yourself a bit lost, this is the evening for you!

The Freedom of the Press Foundation will be setting up shop at Blender Workspace to give a brief presentation on digital security and follow-up with an hour-long open Q&A to address all of your privacy and security concerns. Bring your questions!

Presentation at 7:00pm

Q&A at 7:30pm
