For our Summer Fashion Feature- we caught up with Julia Smith-Eppsteiner, Brand Strategy Associate at Infinia Group, a brand strategy firm based in New York City.
Infinia is a brand strategy, design and activation consultancy that helps brands break barriers in the healthcare, non-profit, financial and professional service sectors. They start each engagement by asking the hard questions. Then, they get everyone on the same page strategically, creatively and experientially, working to clarify and communicate your purpose, promise and story. The aim of everything they do is to make doing business with you easier and more engaging.
Tell us about your daily ritual
I aim for at least five minutes of child pose before bed and five minutes of sun salutations in the AM. Give or take some dancing.
There’s a big range of music I like from quiet to bouncy as hell. Either way, I like music that feels like sunshine coming through my ears. That’s a genre, right?
Monica Geller, duh.
What’s your favorite season for fashion?
All of them! By the time my Birkenstocks are sick of me, I’m ready for chunky sweaters and vice versa.
Favorite item of clothing or accessory you own?
My earring collection. Most pairs have a happy travel story.
What does your style say about you? (Or what do you want it to say about you?)
My style tells you how I felt that morning. Or what ASOS put on sale last week.
Alter-ego: what style genre would you choose?
Mom’s closet meets bowling chic meets the country of Japan.
