Elena Mora is an Italian freelance interior stylist and set designer currently living in Hamburg. How does an Italian end up in Germany? Who the hell knows. Seriously, the two countries couldn’t be more culturally opposite to each other, but I feel it’s precisely this contrast between the two environments that’s making Elena’s work so damn exciting. The Italian passion meets German precision. The result is something that’s difficult to describe. It’s sharp yet poetic, exacting yet conceptual. It’s all that I love, and some which I never knew I loved until Elena opened my eyes to it.

Elena’s practice is informed by different media like graphic design, photography, installation and visual arts. This multidisciplinary and diverse approach comes to play in different fields — set design, interior design, still life, and art direction.
Elena Mora Studio focuses on set design, interior design, creative direction consultancy for different brands and still life.
The output of the studio always pays attention to details and puts a spotlight on the surreal element that the images can evoke. The compositions are infused with an emotional facet, and transform objects into subjects, outputting tailor cut images and concepts for their clients.
