      13th & Third: Art Discussion & Wine Tasting

      Come experience an evening of Art & Wine with Founder/Owner Gregg Rothberg of 13th & Third, a boutique winery out of Paso Robles, California and Joe Iurato, a multidisciplinary artist whose works are built on a foundation of stencils and aerosol.

      Throughout the evening Gregg will share with you these critically acclaimed small production Rhône varietal wines and the story behind the artwork for each of the 13th & Third labels created by Joe. They’ll also share their story of how two lovers of Art & Wine came together to create these unique wines and labels.

      As you enjoy the captivating aromas and flavors of the 13th & Third wines you can check out some of Joe’s incredible pieces that will be on display for the evening.

      13th & Third Wines to Experience
      • 2017 Rosé of Grenache (only 75 cases produced)
      o Tasting notes: Our 2017 Rosé of Grenache is dry and crisp with mouthwatering acidity. The wine showcases vibrant color with beautiful notes of grapefruit and strawberry – the ideal mix of juicy citrus and berry.

      • 2016 Lily (only 100 cases produced)
      o A blend of 4 white grapes: Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Viognier and Picpoul
      o Received 91 points from Wine Enthusiast
      o Tasting notes: on the nose, floral aromas mix with white peach, apricot and honeysuckle. This comes through as you taste, and mixes with hints of apple and butterscotch. This wine has bright acidity and a long finish. Aged for 12 months in a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak aging.

      • 2015 NMR (only 125 cases produced)
      o A blend of 3 red grapes, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre
      o Received 93 points from Antonio Galloni’s Vinous Media.
      o Tasting notes: The nose shows beautiful notes of black fruit and smoke, while on the palette these fruits combine with spice that comes from the partial whole cluster fermentation. Aged for 22 months, 40% new French oak.
