Composed of Manuel Calderon (bass), Hector Carreon (guitars), Paulina Reza (vocal), and Alejandro Bustillos (drums). Fronterizo Indie pop fusion ensemble The Chamanas fuses a unique combination of genres ranging from traditional Mexican folklore, Pop, Brazilian Bossa Nova, Indie, Danzon, among other obscure and synthetic sounds. Conceived at the border between El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, The Chamanas represent the culture of this metropolitan border and explores it with their music. One of the band’s most important moments took place May 5, 2015 when Portugal. The Man released the Spanish cover of “Purple Yellow Red & Blue”.

The Chamanas will be releasing NEA II on July 20 and debuted the video for “If You Build It” with NPR to announce the release.
