New York City’s Best Rooftop Lounges

Summer in the city is usually the time when people escape to the beach or summer houses. The past couple of months have been truly hard on New York and everyone that calls it home. Luckily, New York is home to some of the best rooftop bars with some stellar views.

Here are a few of our favorites:

Located downtown at the South Street Seaport, The Greens at Pier 17 is renting out 14′ by 14′ rooftop lawns for $1 and donating the money to Bowery Mission. The lawn comes complete with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler. The perfect spot for a sunset cocktail. They also offer a great menu for when you want that delicious snack. In Dumbo, on top of the One Hotel Brooklyn Bridge sits Harriet’s. Cocktails will run you $18, but it’s worth it for some of the most breathtaking views of Manhattan.  Book your reservation here.

Atop the William Vale hotel, lies Westlight. This towering bar sits at the top of the twenty-two floor hotel. If you aren’t afraid of heights, this must-see bar offers jaw-dropping panoramic views. Not to mention their cocktails are delicious! Book here.
